After finally connecting with online help, upgraded to Norton AntiVirus 2009. After upgrading, context menues (right click) in Windows explorer frequently caused explorer to abort. Found patch on web to fix problem. Didn't work. After removing all Norton products, this problem disappeared. Customer Review: Norton AV

I have used Norton Antivirus for years. Back in the days of 386 processors I was using McAfee, but it slowed my computer down. I switched to Norton one day and never looked back. Live update works great keeping the software updated with the latest virus definitions and scanning algorithms. In times when I had no money, I would even forgo the subscription and do updates manually from Symantec's website. It's not well documented, but they are there. Now my only question is will Norton 2009 work with Windows 7 come October?Customer Review: Easy install, great value

Install was flawless and quick on Vista operating system. Had McAfee pre-installed when computer was purchased and was having frequent issues such as "no longer protected" alerts resulting in requiring action to re-store virus protection. Have had no issues to date with Norton.
