I have bought, installed, uninstalled and thrown away 2 different Norton Internet Security suites. I felt totally unprotected by both, the last being 2009. They dont offer you any controll at all. This is the firewall I always go back to.(2006 Personal Firewall and 2006 Antivirus) I can enter exactly the private info I want protected and feel safe that it is. If your even considering Norton Internet Security 2009 stop right now. It is absolute junk.As is both Norton Internet Security suites I have tried.Customer Review: Norton Personal Firewall 2006

After installing this on a corporate IBM laptop the system would freeze after booting. There was no way to recover except by repeated forced shut-downs and learning how to get to the install disk to de-install as fast as possible. Unfortunately the de-install does not take place quickly enough and the system freezes in the middle of the de-install. What a disaster of a product!!!!! I remains to be see if I have ever recover my corporate laptop ...
