First off stay away from this product at all cost.
I bought this product to back up specific folders, these folders have multiple sub folders and 1,000s of files within. I backed up specific folders because they were what was important, the backup ran weekly everything was fine. Eventually the drive went and I wanted to retrieve those folders from the back up. What Norton doesn't tell you is that if there is more then 1,000 files in these folders you cannot retrieve them all, they are backed up you just can't get them. The other major problem even assuming you don't have 1,000 files in a folder all sub folders will be lost when you restore, basically all the files will just be dumped into one folder for you to sort out. The product was a waste of time and money and resulted in massive data loss for me. Customer service was very prompt in telling me that I could not retrieve the files, if that is any consolation. Do Not Buy!
